An upstate New York man is facing multiple charges for allegedly driving a “large excavator” into a home with a 62-year-old woman and an 11-year-old boy inside, New York State Police said Tuesday.
Matthew P. Partridge, 37, of Nunda, was arrested Monday on charges of reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child after authorities responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a home in the town of Groveland , about 45 miles south of Rochester.
State troopers and investigators from the NYSP Geneseo barracks responded to a residence on Upper Bean Hill Road around 3:30 p.m. Monday and determined that Partridge was operating an excavator belonging to the family business when he drove toward the home occupied by the woman and “her 11-year-old male relati
