SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A man arrested in Alabama for a fatal October 2023 crash in Sioux City has a plea hearing set for 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Thirty-two-year-old Wesley Louis Staten was charged with two counts of homicide by vehicle - operating under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, and operating while under the influence.
Court documents don’t show further details on Staten’s plea hearing, but he has previously pleaded not guilty to his charges, and his jury trial was set for Nov. 18, 2025.
