TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A motorcyclist is dead after sideswiping a car and crashing into an SUV on Friday in Tulare County, the California Highway Patrol said.
On Friday, Oct. 24, at around 4:25 p.m., dispatchers received a call regarding a three-vehicle crash on Highway 65 and Avenue 256.
The investigation indicated a motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Highway 65. While at the same time, someone driving a Nissan Sedan made a turn on Highway 65 from eastbound on Avenue 256.
As a result, CHP said the motorcyclist sideswiped the Nissan, which made him go into the northbound lane on Highway 65, where he then crashed with a GMC SUV.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
This is an ongoing investigation.
