HUNTSVILLE, Texas (KBTX) - A resigned Huntsville ISD (HISD) employee has been indicted on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.

James Blasingime, 57, was arrested in March on a warrant issued for an offense that occurred several years before. Online jail records show he faced a charge of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child for an alleged offense that occurred in May 2018.

Blasingime resigned as the General Craftsman teacher. At the time, a spokeswoman for the school district said Blasingime was hired in 2018 but there were no known allegations or arrests on records relating to this matter, and the allegations for this incident are unrelated to the school district.
