NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Once again, Tulane head coach Jon Sumrall’s name is being linked to multiple head coaching vacancies around the country.

When asked about the opening at LSU, Sumrall insisted his sole focus was on the Green Wave’s next conference matchup against UTSA.

“The coaching carousel to me is not even a thought because we’re in the midseason phase,” Sumrall said. “So whatever somebody else wants to do, another program wants to do, what people want to speculate, they’re free to do that. UTSA has my 100% focus. Our team playing the best it can has my 100% focus.”

This is not the first time Sumrall has been linked to Power Four job openings around the country.
