SENECA, S.C. —

Deputies in Oconee County, South Carolina, are searching for a woman who was reported missing on Tuesday afternoon.

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office is searching for Hope Belinda Hathaway, a 38-year-old woman from Seneca, who was last seen leaving her home near Utica on Monday afternoon.

Authorities said Hope was possibly seen near Wells Highway and Friendship Road.

Hope was last seen wearing black pants, a black hoodie and black shoes. She is 5-foot-3 and weighs approximately 120 pounds.

Deputies said she has some health problems and is on medication.

Authorities ask anyone with information of Hope's whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
