The Bureau of Meteorology says it is taking "seriously" feedback about its new website, which has been widely criticised since it was launched a week ago.
Environment and Water Minister Senator Murray Watt met on Tuesday with the bureau's acting CEO, Dr Peter Stone, to discuss the public's response to the website, saying it was clearly "not meeting many users' expectations".
A bureau spokesperson said it acknowledged the changes had been challenging.
"The new bureau website features design and functionality improvements to our most frequently used pages, including forecasts, observations and weather warnings," a statement read.
