SHREVEPORT, La. — Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux has been admitted to the hospital with pneumonia, his office announced today.

The mayor is receiving treatment as a precautionary measure. According to a statement, Arceneaux is in good spirits, is very alert, and is resting comfortably.
