MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A man is fighting for his life after a shooting in the Hyde Park neighborhood Tuesday night.

The Memphis Police Department says that the shooting call came in at 6:45 p.m. from Biggs Street just north of Jackson Avenue.

One man was found at the scene with critical injuries. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

MPD reports that another man is detained at the scene and that the investigation remains ongoing.
