A 7-year-old girl sitting in the back of a car was struck in the arm by a bullet Tuesday night in the city’s Fairhill section, police said.
Shortly before 7:20 p.m., police were notified that the girl was taken by family members in a four-door sedan to Temple University Hospital, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
The car had been struck three times by bullets — twice in the left rear and once in the rear drive-side door — while it was traveling south on the 3000 block of North Marshall Street, Small said.
