CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) - Two people were injured Tuesday night in Cedar Rapids following a shooting at a bar.

Cedar Rapids Police arrived around 8:30 p.m. to the business in the 2800 block of Mt. Vernon Road Southeast. Once there they located a man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to be OK.

Police also found a second victim at the scene with a head injury and got them taken to the hospital for treatment as well.

Officers worked to secure the scene and believe there's no threat to the public at this time as their investigation begins. No more information on what happened is being released at this time.
