HUNTINGTON/CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Halloween celebrations are being held throughout our region this week.
On Tuesday night at Camp Landing in Boyd County, Kentucky, kids dressed up in their costumes and treated themselves to some candy in a spooky, but safe way.
Several businesses and nonprofits took part in the safe trick or treating where tables were set up to share some sweets.
Meanwhile in Nitro, West Virginia, it was a Halloween hoedown – a free family-friendly event that is hosted by the city annually at the Living Memorial Park.
Hundreds of people dressed up in their Halloween attire and participated in the costume parade that started at the city’s library and ended at the park.
