HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – On Saturday, Nov. 8, the Marshall Thundering Herd football team will play James Madison at Joan C. Edwards Stadium in Huntington.
During that game, Marshall will honor the 75 who died in the Nov. 14, 1970, plane crash. That game is the closest home game to Nov. 14 this year.
On Tuesday, Glenn’s Sporting Goods unveiled the official shirt for the game.
Fans are asked to wear black to honor the lives of the Marshall football team, coaches and community members who died in the plane crash.
