BELL CITY, Mo. (KFVS) - For the first time this decade, Leopold is atop its district in volleyball.
The Wildcats took an emotional 3-1 victory over Advance in a thriller at Bell City.
Leading the way for the Wildcats was their student section--small but mighty. All game long, the fans cheered, giving Leopold’s players every reason to try for every dig, every set and every spike.
After a back-and-forth battle, Leopold took a tight first set 25-23 with Piper Lincoln spiking the ball over to clinch it.
But Advance immediately countered; the Hornets dominated the second set, and with an equally capable supporter’s section, took a commanding 25-12 win in the second set, Olivia Kennedy scoring the final point for Advance right at the net.
