Nat Barr has demanded the truth about how an elderly cruise ship passenger could have allegedly been abandoned on a remote island before she was found dead.
The Coral Expeditions passenger, 80, was found on Lizard Island off the Far North Queensland coast on Saturday.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the death of the solo traveller who was reported missing after she failed to return to the Coral Adventurer, which has capacity for 120 guests, anchored offshore.
The elderly woman, who was on the $80,000 trip, had been hiking up the Cook's Look summit with fellow passengers when she stopped for a rest and became lost while trying to make her way back to the ship.
