BISMARCK, N.D. (KXNET) — A major community-led renovation project is already underway to upgrade a pair of Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation apartments.

The effort is being spearheaded by the Bismarck-Mandan Professional Women in Building (PWB). Demolition for the project is already completed and the units are already starting to look like livable apartments again.

According to a press release, it started off as a small community "give-back project" to refresh two patient bedrooms, and has since grown into a full-fledged remodel. The project is upgrading four bedrooms, two kitchens, and two living rooms across the pair of units.
