After some cloud cover and a few showers for southwestern Wisconsin yesterday, skies are clearing up throughout this morning. Our last few raindrops have fallen, and cloud cover is pushing back out to the southwest, bringing partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies this afternoon. Regardless of the extra sun today, high temperatures are slowly on the decline, with Madison's high temperature getting to the mid-50s. This is because of strong northeasterly winds, coming in at 10-15 mph with 20 mph gusts pushing in some cooler air.
