BUTLER COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - Emergency crews rushed to the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash in Butler County on Tuesday morning, October 28.
The crash happened around 8 a.m. on Route C, approximately 5 miles south of Poplar Bluff.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the chain-reaction crash claimed the life of an Arkansas man.
Troopers said a Ram pickup truck hit the rear of a Nissan car, which caused the Nissan to hit the rear of a Kia car and the Kia then hit the rear of a Chrysler car.
MSHP reports that one passenger in the Nissan, a 60-year-old Pocahontas, Ark., man, was killed in the crash.
Another passenger in the Nissan was taken to Poplar Bluff hospital with serious injuries.
