Police cordon at Cabot Circus after woman injured and bank evacuated View 2 Images

A woman was assaulted at Cabot Circus this afternoon (Wednesday, October 29). Avon and Somerset Police were called to the Broadmead shopping centre at 3.13pm.

Shoppers reported a major police presence as HSBC bank was evacuated . It remains closed and a cordon is in place while investigations take place.

Police say officers arrived within minutes and arrested a man in his 40s. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
