FARMINGTON, Conn — A Massachusetts-based grocery store is bringing another location to Connecticut, this time, on a property shared with a mall.
Big Y announced Wednesday that its newest location will be at Westfarms in Farmington, slated to open around springtime in 2027.
“We’re thrilled to become part of the vibrant Westfarms community after a long search for the right opportunity,” said Mathieu L. D’Amour, Vice President of Real Estate and Development. “This new location will deepen our connection with customers in Central Connecticut and allow us to continue delivering our signature customer service through our exceptional and knowledgeable employees.”
