BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- LSU presidential search committee members narrowed down candidates to three finalists after interviews Wednesday.

Several candidates were interviewed throughout the day, including LSU interim president Matt Lee.

Who are the three finalists for the top job at LSU?

Candidates who were named finalists are University of Alabama executive vice president and provost James Dalton, McNeese State University president Wade Rousse and former University of Arizona president Robert Robbins.

The LSU Board of Supervisors will make the final decision on the system's next president.
