SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and the Department of Education announced this year's Blue Ribbon Schools.

Four schools were given the distinction, including one in Northwestern Iowa.

George-Little Rock Elementary received the honor as one of the top-performing schools in the state.

The Governor said each Blue Ribbon School is recognized for their hard work and dedication to help every student succeed.
