Patiala, Oct 30: In a shocking incident at a wedding near Anandpur Sahib in Punjab’s Ropar district on Wednesday, retired Chandigarh DSP Dilsher Singh allegedly shot AAP functionary Nitin Nanda following a heated altercation.

According to police, the bullet struck Nanda on the back of his head, and he was immediately rushed to PGI Chandigarh, about 80 km away, where he underwent emergency surgery. A case of attempted murder has been registered against Dilsher Singh and two others, who are currently absconding. Police teams have launched a manhunt to trace the accused.
