WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Via Christi St. Francis made Halloween extra sweet for the babies in NICU, as nurses and nurse techs helped the hospital’s tiniest patients celebrate their first Halloween in style.
The care team at St. Francis hand-crafted costumes, including Disney Princesses, a cow, a dragon, a cupcake and a Ninja Turtle.
And, of course, no set of costumes in Kansas would be complete without Dorothy and the Cowardly Lion, which were donned by a pair of twins.
St. Francis said the activity is a fun and meaningful way to share joy, creativity and compassion with families.
