COLUMBUS, Ohio — When her primary care doctor asked a simple question — “Have you had your mammogram recently?” — Kristin Meyer didn’t think much of it.

“My primary care doctor said, have you had your mammogram recently? And I said, ‘nope’,” Meyer said.

It was 2023. Meyer was juggling a new job, family schedules, and the busy rhythm of being a mom.

“I was trying to manage the new role, also being a mom, having children in various sports… I just didn’t realize time had gotten away from me,” Meyer said.
