COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is offering free admission to federal workers and up to five guests for the next few weeks.
Federal employees can get into the zoo for free from Nov. 1 through Nov. 20. Free parking is also available.
The zoo says it is aware that the government shutdown is impacting federal employees and their families and wanted to provide a place where they can unwind.
Federal employees must show their federal ID at the parking booth and at ticket windows to get the discount, which is only available in person and cannot be redeemed online.
The zoo’s hours of operation can be found here.
