Celtics 6-foot-7 sharpshooting forward sets impressive league-wide record
The Boston Celtics started the season off 0-3, something that hadn’t happened since 2014.
After Wednesday night’s victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers , Jaylen Brown and the team have improved to 2-3.
Brown has done his part in almost every game so far, but much of their win against the Cavaliers can be credited to an unsung hero.
That would be 6-foot-7 sniper Sam Hauser, who set a league record this season for most three pointers made in one quarter with five.
What makes it more impressive is the fact that he did it in the first quarter, and he isn’t part of the starting lineup.
He checked in off the bench and immediately went to work, hitting three of the five in a minute.
