PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Mayor Brett Smiley is looking for "spirited vendors" to bring holiday cheer to downtown Providence this winter.
The city has invited local businesses to apply for the new "Rinkubator" vendor space located at Biltmore Park. They'll be able to sell drinks, snack foods, retail items and art at the kiosk alongside the skating rink, which welcomes more than 40,000 visitors each season, officials said.
The city envisions the park being a "hub for community gathering and celebration" from November to mid-January.
