LIVE: Suspect involved in incident at Upstate facility accused of fleeing scene

COWPENS, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said it is responding to an incident at a distribution facility in Cowpens.

Deputies said they were called to GXO/Amazon IUSR facility on East Mount Olive Road for reports of shots fired but when they arrived, it ended up being a domestic dispute.

According to officials, the suspect fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. They have not released the suspect’s name.

Mountain View Christian Academy said they were placed on lockdown as a default status but have since been given the all clear to return to normal.
