HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- Owensboro Public Schools (OPS) will host a food drive to help students impacted by the suspension of SNAP benefits in the wake of the government shutdown.
A release from OPS says 55 percent of Owensboro Public Schools students will be directly impacted by the suspension of SNAP benefits beginning November 1. Donations will be collected November 3-14.
