EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A new health clinic is opening at East Lansing High School, bringing care directly to students ages 5 to 21, including non-students.
Staffed by University of Michigan Health-Sparrow clinicians, the clinic will provide checkups, immunizations, sports physicals, and mental health support year-round. Leaders say the goal is to remove barriers like transportation, scheduling, and insurance coverage.
“The long-term impact that we’re trying to make with our students is just to provide access to care,” said Gregory Holzhei of UM Health-Sparrow.
