HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WSMV) - One Christian County woman received a shock Wednesday night when she opened a package delivered to her home and the box was full of human body parts.

The woman discovered two arms and four fingers inside the box, prompting a call to 911 and then to the coroner’s office, said Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel. She was expecting the package to contain medical supplies.

“I think would anybody this time of year would have said that’d be a hoax… but it wasn’t,” Daniel said.

Around 8 p.m. Wednesday night Daniel went to collect the cadaver parts, which were packed on ice.

“She takes the box inside, opens it just like anybody else would, in the box are two arms and four fingers. Human cadaver parts,” Daniel said.
