Manchester Airport has announced that further airlines will be moving their operations to Terminal 2 in the coming weeks, including easyJet and SAS.

It comes as the airport’s £1.3bn transformation programme nears completion. Eventually Terminal 1 will close with more than 70 per cent of passengers using Terminal 2.

Several airlines have already moved their operations over to Terminal 2 including Aer Lingus, Finnair and British Airways.

Now the airport has announced the dates of when other airlines will make the move to Terminal 2.

Gulf Air will move on November 5, followed by Norse Atlantic Airways on November 7 and SAS on November 11. EasyJet will make the switch on November 19.
