STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The North Canton man accused of shooting a woman at an apartment complex and shooting at police officers, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Stark County Court of Common Pleas Friday.

Brian Fransisco, 38, was indicted on the charges of felonious assault, discharging a firearm into a habitation or school, inducing panic, and criminal damaging.

Around 9 a.m. on Oct. 9, North Canton police said Frascisco shot a woman inside an apartment complex in the 100 block of Applegrove St.

Officers arrived and found the victim on the first floor.

While inside the apartment, multiple rounds were fired at the officers, and bullets were coming through the walls.

The SWAT team was at the scene and pulled the woman through a window.
