The Painted Lady Bed and Brew in Albuquerque has become a destination for those seeking a spooky experience, with its history dating back to 1881 when it was a saloon and brothel.

Jesse Herron, who bought the property in 2014, has been exploring its colorful past, uncovering stories of knife fights, stabbings, and shootouts that once made headlines.

"There were headlines from the journal and tribune about knife fights and stabbings and shootouts, and it was a real rough and tumble road house type of place," Herron said.
