A 'stabbing' in Edinburgh saw a man hospitalised on Saturday afternoon.

Police were called to Moubray Grove in South Queensferry at around 4pm on November 1. Officers taped off the street as they responded to the incident.

A 57-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Royal Infirmary . His condition was described as stable on Sunday morning.

The force also confirmed a 54-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.

They told the Record: "Around 4pm on Saturday, 1 November 2025 a 57-year-old man sustained serious injuries following an altercation with another man in Moubray Grove, South Queensferry.
