HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Chilly November rain is soaking Kentucky this morning, spinning around an upper-level low sliding southeast through our region. Showers will weaken as we get deeper into the day, with the rain diminishing first in northwestern areas and sticking around a bit longer in the southeast and for Lake Cumberland residents, where light rain is likely to linger into the afternoon.
As the rain fades, colder air settles in to start Monday. Expect a frosty morning with pockets of fog as temperatures dip, but by the afternoon, much of the state should enjoy highs in the 50s. The good news continues Tuesday and Wednesday, when highs should climb to a comfortable range of 60-65 degrees under mostly dry skies-a perfect stretch for some outdoor plans.
