HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - After a chilly weekend with persistent rain, Kentucky is finally drying out as we head into the work week.

Skies are clearing tonight, setting the stage for some widespread fog in the morning, especially in our river valleys. Lows will dip into the lower 30s in the coldest spots, so be prepared for some slick roads sticking around and reduced visibility early Monday morning.

Sunshine will gradually break through, pushing afternoon highs into the 50s for our Monday. The warming trend continues through Tuesday and Wednesday, with most areas seeing highs in the low to mid 60s.
