Man found shot dead in Durham outside business identified as Alberto Flores, sheriff says

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A death investigation is underway after authorities found a person shot dead.

Just after 8 a.m. Sunday, Durham County Sheriff's Office responded to the 6100 block of Guess Road. They found a dead body with gunshot wounds outside a business.

The victim was later identified as Alberto Flores, 28.

Authorities believe this to be an isolated incident and have stated there is no threat to the public. Further details will be provided as they become available.
