Valleyfair closed early on Saturday as fights broke out during the final night of its 2025 season.

Videos and pictures posted online show a large police presence at the Shakopee theme park from around 10 p.m., with guests exiting the park two hours before the planned midnight close time.

In a statement, Valleyfair said the response from its security teams and local police was due to "two altercations between parties."

As well as being the final night of its 2025 season, Saturday was also the last opportunity for guests to visit its "ValleyScare" Halloween attraction.

No information has been released by police as of Sunday evening regarding the extent of the fighting, how many people were involved, if anyone was injured, and if any arrests were made.
