Police are asking for the public’s assistance in connection with two break-and-enters in Espanola last week.
Manitoulin OPP said officers responded around 4 a.m. on Monday (Oct. 27) to an alarm call at the High Life Cannabis store in Espanola. “Upon arrival, police determined that a break and enter occurred, where several items were suspected to be stolen,” the detachment said in a release.
Later that same day, around 8:30 a.m., the police service responded to another call of a break and enter, this one at the Espanola Legion, where an unknown individual had broken into the building and again taken several items.
Police said they suspect the two incidents are related and are asking anyone with information to contact the Manitoulin OPP at 1-888-310-1122. If you wish to remain anonymous,
