LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police in Kentucky said a needle was found in a child's candy after trick-or-treating.
The Glasgow Police Department posted on social media asking the community to check their candy after they were sent pictures of "candy appeared to have been tampered with."
A needle can be seen in the middle of a broken up candy bar.
Glasgow Police wasn't the only police department in Kentucky to get reports of candy found in Halloween candy.
The Madison County Sheriff's Department posted on Facebook about two separate incidents of needles found in Halloween candy.
The first incident was reported on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025 after trick-or-treating in the area off Highway 1016 in Berea. Two needles were recovered, and the Sheriff's Department said the case in ongoing.
