PLEASANTON, Texas — One Pleasanton woman is hoping for a Halloween miracle after realizing her diamond wedding ring slipped off her finger while she was handing out candy to trick-or-treaters on Halloween night.
“My husband proposed to me in 2018, so it’s been on my finger for seven years,” said Keatlynn Barrera.
Barrera said she was passing out candy outside her home on High Meadow Drive when she noticed something was missing.
“I just had my band on. My diamond engagement ring was missing,” she said.
The shock quickly turned to panic as Barrera and her family searched everywhere —and even dumped out the candy bowl.
“It must have fallen off my finger whenever I was handing out candy. I know it was cold,” she said. “We start looking around the ground everywhere... and I realized it was
