SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Welcome to the new week! Temperatures start out well below the average this morning, reaching the 30s/40s across the region. There is a Frost Advisory in effect until 9am this morning for our far northeastern portions of the ArkLaTex. That is where temperatures have fallen into the middle and upper 30s.

However, by this afternoon, temperatures will rise to much more comfortable levels, which will be the lower to middle 70s. Skies are expected to remain clear through today, thanks to a high-pressure system. That same system is expected to shift east through the next few days, causing temperatures to rise back above the average!

The week will be clear, but highs will reach the 80s by Wednesday and lows will reach the 60s by Friday. We could see some cloud cover ret
