BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - THE NEXT 24 HOURS: As we kick off a new week, a frost advisory is in place through 9 a.m. It is chilly with temperatures in the 30s under a mostly fair sky. Highs this afternoon will be in the low to mid 60s with good sunshine. Overnight, temperatures won’t be as cold as this morning, falling into the upper 30s and lower 40s.

A QUIET WEEK AHEAD: The rest of the week looks very quiet and mild through Friday. Highs will return to the low and mid-70s with a good mix of sunshine and clouds. Our next big cool down doesn’t arrive until early next week.

THE NEXT BIG THING: Heading into Friday evening, there may be a few isolated showers as the next cold front approaches. At this time, the amount of rain with this system looks limited, but a few areas could see
