Shawn Baca and Jonathan Ross have found themselves In a Pickle.

The Loveland men, who are brothers-in-law, have launched a full-time business making and selling pickles, something they said they were inspired to do on a work trip to New York.

“It’s turned into a big family business,” said Shawn, describing that different family members lend a hand with their start-up pickle business, In a Pickle.

They make their product in a commissary kitchen, store each bucket for about 28 days (until brined to full flavor) at a local brewery and sell it at different markets around the region, including in Loveland, Berthoud, Fort Collins and Cheyenne.

Shawn: We were both working for a different company in New York and saw our first pickle stand. We thought, hey maybe we can bring back here, in jest.
