Three people have been rushed to hospital after a double-decker bus crashed on a busy road in Edinburgh on Monday morning. ‌

The passengers were onboard a Lothian bus which smashed into a telecommunications mast on November 3. ‌

The dramatic event unfolded on Calder Road in the Sighthill area of the city at around 11.15am. ‌

Emergency services, including police and paramedics, raced to the scene.

Medics immediately attended to five of the 11 passengers who were on board at the time.

Three of them were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh to be assessed. The bus driver was not injured. ‌
