Five more people have been arrested and charged in connection to the ongoing gang war raging across Scotland.

Since March, properties and businesses have been torched and attacked in Edinburgh before it spread to Glasgow in April when the Daniel crime clan was targeted due to their links to Mark Richardson.

This came about after Ross McGill's Tamo Junto (TMJ) gang went after mob boss Richardson and his associates after a cocaine deal was paid for using fake bank notes.

Operation Portaledge was launched by Police Scotland in response, with the force confirming on Tuesday morning they have arrested a total of 62 people, including five arrests in recent months.
