A ridge of high pressure dominates our forecast for much of the workweek, giving us abundant sunshine and above-average temperatures.
We will be breezy the next few days, due to slight pressure falls in the Central Plains, giving us a tightened pressure gradient.
As a result, the fire weather threat will be elevated as humidity falls, especially on Thursday.
For tomorrow, expect another mild and sunny day, starting off in the low to mid-50s in the metroplex, then heading to the upper 70s to near 80 for Election Day.
Temperatures will steadily warm into the lower 80s for the rest of the week, out ahead of a series of dry cold fronts that arrive into the weekend.
