ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBTV) - A York County man hit a $140,000 lottery jackpot last month , and he’s vowing to reuse his winning numbers.
“Yeah, I’m still playing them [the numbers],” he told lottery officials. “They made my life better.”
The man bought his lucky Plametto Cash 5 ticket from the Food Lion along Heckle Boulevard in Rock Hill.
He said he instantly recognized the winning numbers from the Oct. 7 drawing, since he had been playing them for three years.
The following day, he and his wife traveled to Columbia to cash the winning voucher. For selling the claimed ticket, Food Lion got a commission of $1,400.
